In 2017, on this warm summer afternoon, in order to soothe the warmth of the sun, I was having a blast catching waves at Bronte Beach where I live. All of a sudden, out of nowhere the wind started to blow hard and the waves picked up into a wild and powerful swell. Shortly after The Bronte Life Savers had closed the beach.
